1. The difference between galvanized sheet and stainless steel
Galvanized sheet refers to the steel plate coated with a layer of zinc on the surface. Galvanized is an economical and effective anti-rust method that is often used. About half of the zinc production in the world is used in this process, and stainless steel is not. The abbreviation of rust-resistant acid-resistant steel, resistant to weak corrosive media such as air, steam, water, or stainless steel is called stainless steel.
The type of galvanized sheet
1. Hot-dip galvanized steel sheet, immersing the thin steel sheet in a molten zinc bath, and attaching a layer of zinc to its surface, is now mainly produced by continuous galvanizing process, that is to say, the coiled steel sheet is continuously dipped in A galvanized steel sheet is made in a plating tank in which zinc is melted.
2. Alloyed galvanized steel sheet. This kind of steel sheet is also made by hot-dip method, but it will be heated to about 500°C immediately after it comes out of the tank, so that it can form an alloy film of zinc and iron. The high-quality galvanized sheet not only has good paint adhesion but also has particularly good weldability.
3. Electro-galvanized steel sheet. The galvanized steel sheet manufactured by electroplating has a good processing effect, but the coating is thin and its corrosion resistance is not as good as that of hot-dip galvanized sheet.
4. Single-sided galvanized steel sheet and double-sided poor galvanized steel sheet. Single-sided galvanized steel sheet is a product that is only galvanized on one side. Better adaptability, in order to overcome the shortcomings of one side not being galvanized, there is another kind of galvanized sheet coated with a thin layer of zinc on the other side, which is what we call a double-sided galvanized sheet.
5. Alloy and composite galvanized steel sheets are actually steel sheets made of zinc and other metals such as aluminum, lead, zinc, etc. performance.
